BevChain operates from 25 distribution centres (DCs) in six states, with a fleet of over 200 vehicles and 700 employees. Across its network of DCs, BevChain had previously relied on stationary printing procedures, but these created challenges including operator inefficiency and lower productivity through a lack of printing accuracy, issues with mislabelling, and congestion at the printing stations.
In order to overcome the printing efficiency and productivity challenges it faced, BevChain turned to its technology integrator partner, Dematic, who recommended switching to Zebra QLn420 Mobile Printers. The mobile printers were rolled out across BevChain’s national network of DCs, with almost 100 devices deployed.
With their new mobile printing solution, BevChain has been able to achieve efficiency gains and cost savings throughout its business, and now plans to work with Dematic to roll out the Zebra TC8000 Touch Mobile Computer throughout its operations.
